What is AutoGlass AI?
AutoGlass AI is a marketplace for auto glass repair. You post your damaged windshield or car window with photos, local installers bid on the job, and you book the bid you want — price, timing and rating side by side.
How does the bidding work?
It is a reverse auction: instead of calling shops for quotes, you post the job once and installers send you their price and the earliest time they can do it. You choose; nobody is booked until you accept a bid.
Does it cost anything to post a job?
No. Posting a job and receiving bids is free. You pay the installer's bid for the work you book.
When is my card charged?
When you accept a bid your card is authorised — a hold, not a charge. It is charged only after the installer finishes and you confirm the work, or automatically 24 hours after they mark it done if you do nothing. If something is wrong, report a problem instead and the automatic charge stops.
Can the installer come to me?
Yes. Choose mobile service when you post and the installer comes to your home or work. You can follow them on a map while they drive over, and you get a notification when they are a few minutes away.
Are the installers vetted?
Installers upload their business license and proof of insurance, which the AutoGlass AI team reviews before they can bid. After each job, customers rate the installer, and ratings are shown on every bid.

I'm an installer. What does it cost?
Joining is free. When you win a job, AutoGlass AI keeps a 5% platform fee and card processing is deducted from your payout; you see exactly what you'll receive before you bid. You set your own prices and choose the jobs you want.
